I will review and prepare all the necessary documents to complete your real estate transaction, including mortgages, notes, deeds and land contracts. I prepare and review all documents so that your closing is problem-free. I will also attend real estate closings when appropriate or at your request.

Estate Planning

The greatest gift you can leave your heirs is well-designed estate planning. Leaving the distribution of your estate to your survivors almost inevitably leads to conflict.

My estate planning practice covers a broad spectrum of clients and services. I counsel clients on the benefits of wills or trusts and the tax advantages of different trusts. I draft wills, trusts and general and medical powers of attorney. I prepare living wills for persons who do not want their lives sustained by artificial means. I also draw up pre-nuptial and other marital agreements that impact estate planning.

Long-Term Disability under ERISA

If you have a long-term disability policy through your employer and have been denied a claim, I can help you. I have worked with clients in the submission of claims under ERISA and also handled appeals from denials of claims, representing clients in hearing with insurance carriers and in the federal courts.
